More About The Law Office

Mission and Philosophy

Established in August 2008, The Veterans Law Office of Eagle & Wildhaber, LLP represents the shared visions of Katrina J. Eagle and Michael E. Wildhaber: to provide affordable, high-quality legal representation to veterans and their families in the area of veterans benefits and related law areas.  This law partnership is the continuation of Michael Wildhaber’s solo law practice – The Law Office of Wildhaber & Associates, PLLC – where Katrina Eagle first started as an associate attorney in 2001.  Now as law partners, The Veterans Law Office of Eagle & Wildhaber has over 35 years of combined experience in the area of federal veterans benefits.

Senior Law Partner Michael Wildhaber has practiced veterans benefits law and represented claimants since 1985.  He worked as a staff attorney with Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) Legal Services and as a supervising attorney with the National Veterans Legal Services Program (NVLSP) for 9 years.  Managing Law Partner Katrina Eagle began representing veterans in 1995, first as a legislative analyst with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and then as Deputy Director of VVA’s Veterans Benefits Program.  During these many years of law practice, we have successfully represented hundreds of veterans and their family members before the VA regional offices, the BVA, and the Veterans Court.

Attorneys Eagle and Wildhaber, along with their staff, use their wealth and breadth of veterans law experience to represent veterans and their family members who have appeals in the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, as well as within the VA’s appeals process at both the VARO initial appeal level and, or at the Board of Veterans' Appeals (BVA).
Complementing The Law Office's emphasis in veterans benefits and appeals is its practice in the related specialty area of cases of medical malpractice and negligence involving the U.S. Department of Veterans Affair's (VA) health care system.
